Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Craze Software, LLC (d/b/a ContentCraze) ("ContentCraze," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our services, including our websites, brand web portal, creator mobile app (iOS/Android), and related services (collectively, the “Services”). It also explains your choices and rights.
Plain-English note (privacy vs. ownership): This Privacy Policy is about personal information. Content ownership is governed by our Terms of Service and Creator Assent. In general, if a creator’s submission is “Accepted” (not rejected), the Brand owns that submission outright (forever, worldwide), even though the submission may still contain a creator’s likeness, voice, or handle.

B) Information we receive from connected platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram)
If you connect a social media account (e.g., TikTok, Instagram), we receive information via that platform’s APIs only with your authorization and limited to the scopes you grant. This may include:
- Basic profile information (e.g., user ID, display name, avatar) and other profile fields provided by the platform.
- Video/content lists and metadata as permitted.
- Performance metrics for Submissions (e.g., views, likes, comments, shares, saves) for verification, leaderboards, and earnings calculations.
C) Payments & subscriptions (via Stripe and other providers)
Creators (payouts): Payment providers may collect identity/KYC and tax information (e.g., W-9/W-8BEN) and payout details. We typically receive limited information (e.g., onboarding status, payout status, and transfer identifiers), not full payment-instrument details.
Brands (subscriptions/purchases): Payment card details are handled by our payment processor(s). We may receive and store billing contact info, subscription plan, invoices/receipts, and limited payment status (e.g., last 4 digits, expiration month/year, payment success/failure).
D) Technical, device, and usage data
- IP address, approximate location (e.g., city/state derived from IP), timestamps.
- Device type, OS version, app version, language, time zone.
- Log data (pages/screens viewed, clicks, referrers, crash/error logs).
- Cookies or similar technologies on web; mobile SDK identifiers on app (see Cookies & analytics below).
E) Information we infer or generate
- Program participation, review status, and integrity/fraud signals (e.g., suspected inauthentic behavior).
- Aggregated statistics and reporting (e.g., total views across a program).
- Ranking/ordering signals for leaderboards or program views (e.g., sorting by performance).
- AI-generated tips (see AI features below) based on inputs and program/brand context.
- AI-generated video content through Hook Lab, including cloned voice audio, lip-synced video, and generated hook scripts derived from source video Submissions.
- Research insights derived from publicly available content metadata and metrics (e.g., trending topics, performance patterns).
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information (e.g., health data). Some “sensitive” information (as defined by certain laws) may be processed incidentally (for example, a creator’s likeness/voice appearing in a Submission).
5) How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- Provide and operate the Services (accounts, program participation, submission workflows, messaging, support).
- Review and moderate Submissions for compliance with Program Rules and platform integrity (including admin review/approval workflows).
- Verify performance (including through TikTok APIs where authorized), calculate earnings, and operate leaderboards/analytics.
- Process payments and payouts, including subscriptions, purchases, and creator payouts via payment providers.
- Communicate with you (service notices, receipts, support, policy updates). With consent where required, send marketing communications.
- Run optional SMS programs (verification codes, alerts, updates; and marketing texts only where you opt in).
- Protect the Services (fraud prevention, security monitoring, dispute handling, enforcement of Terms/Program Rules).
- Improve the Services (analytics, troubleshooting, research, product development, quality assurance).
- Generate AI-powered content through Hook Lab (voice cloning, lip-sync, hook script generation) and AI-Viral Tips, using source videos, Brand creative direction, and related metadata as described in Section 6.
6) AI features
A) AI-Viral Tips (text suggestions)
The Services may include AI-powered features (e.g., “AI-Viral Tips”) that suggest hooks, angles, captions, CTAs, and on-screen text.
- Inputs: may include Brand profile information, program briefs, and metadata you provide in the Services.
- Outputs: are suggestions; users remain responsible for compliance and accuracy.
B) Hook Lab (AI-generated video)
The Services include Hook Lab, an AI-powered feature that generates new video hooks by processing existing creator Submissions or Brand-uploaded source videos. Hook Lab may:
- Transcribe source video audio to identify hook boundaries and content.
- Generate new hook scripts using AI text generation, guided by Brand creative direction and tone preferences.
- Clone the speaker's voice from the source video using AI voice synthesis to produce new spoken audio matching the generated hook script.
- Lip-sync the new audio onto the speaker's face in the source video using AI-powered facial animation (producing synthetic/”deepfake” visual output).
- Stitch the new AI-generated hook with the original video body to produce a final composite video.
Inputs processed by Hook Lab: source video (including the speaker's face, voice, and likeness), Brand creative direction, tone preferences, and metadata associated with the source video or Submission.
Outputs: AI-generated video variants that contain synthetic voice and lip-sync elements. Outputs are experimental and may not perfectly replicate the original speaker's delivery, tone, or appearance. Brands and users are responsible for reviewing all Hook Lab outputs before use and for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, platform rules, and disclosure requirements.
Voice and likeness processing: By uploading or designating source video for Hook Lab processing, the uploading user represents that they have the right to authorize such processing, including the cloning of any speaker's voice and the generation of synthetic lip-sync of any person appearing in the video. See also Section 5.5 (Name, likeness, and publicity rights) of our Terms of Service.
C) Playbook Research (public data analysis)
The Services include research tools that analyze publicly available content (e.g., trending TikTok and Instagram videos) to surface performance patterns and inform Brand strategy. We may use third-party data providers to retrieve publicly available metadata and metrics for this purpose.
D) General AI disclosures
- Model improvement: we may use aggregated and de-identified information to improve our features. We do not use your personal information to train publicly available foundation models.
- Third-party AI providers: We use third-party AI service providers (including for transcription, text generation, voice synthesis, facial animation/lip-sync, and data retrieval) to deliver these features. These providers process data under contractual protections, access controls, and data-processing agreements. We select providers whose terms prohibit using customer data to train general-purpose models.

For AI features such as Hook Lab, source video data (including voice and likeness) may be transmitted to third-party AI providers for transcription, text generation, voice synthesis, and facial animation/lip-sync. These providers may access information only to perform services for us and are required to protect it under contractual data-processing agreements.

If you connect TikTok, Instagram, or another integration we offer, information is exchanged as part of that integration and subject to the third party’s policies.

E) Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
No sale for money: We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws define “sell” or “share” broadly (e.g., for targeted advertising). See Your choices & rights for opt-out options.
9) Cookies, analytics, and interest-based advertising
We may use cookies and similar technologies on our websites and SDKs in our apps to:
- operate essential site/app functions,
- remember preferences,
- understand usage and improve performance,
- detect fraud and secure accounts.
Where required by law, we provide choices for non-essential cookies. You can also control cookies through browser settings and mobile OS privacy settings. If we engage in interest-based advertising or “sharing” for targeted advertising as defined by certain laws, we will provide an opt-out mechanism (see Your choices & rights).
